Vaccines For Children (VFC)
- Children from birth through 18 years can get vaccines for free or at a low cost through the VFC program. Your child is eligible for VFC if they fall into one of the following groups:

- Enrolled in or eligible for Medicaid.
- American Indian or Alaska Native.
- No health insurance.
- Underinsured*.
317 Vaccines
- The Section 317 program is authorized under 42 U.S.C.A. § 247b and administered by the CDC to support state, local, and territorial public health immunization programs. It funds vaccine purchases, operations, and outreach to ensure access to vaccines for eligible populations.
- To qualify for Section 317-funded vaccines, individuals must meet at least one of the following criteria.

- Uninsured adults (ages 19+ with no health insurance).
- Underinsured adults – including those with private insurance that:
- Does not cover ACIP-recommended vaccines at all.
- Covers only selected ACIP-recommended vaccines (eligible for non-covered vaccines only).
- Has no first-dollar coverage (copays, coinsurance, or deductibles) for ACIP-recommended vaccines.
- Has a fixed dollar limit (cap) for ACIP-recommended vaccines.
Private Vaccines
- Vaccines purchased privately by Pickaway County Public Health and made available to the public.
- Charges billed to client’s health insurance and/or offered at a discounted rate to those who qualify.

TB skin test offered Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
- Clients are required to return to PCPH for TB skin test reading 48-72 hours after placement; failure to return will require test to be repeated.
